There’s something pink in Subic

There’s something pink in Subic

Destination: Subic Beach Matnog, Sorsogon

We arrived Matnog 5:30pm only in time to buy fresh fish, veggies and rice in the market. The market is just beside the docking area of roros and boats to Calintaan island.  As per tourism office, boatmen are only allowed to transport tourists until 6pm.

Our boatmen

We went to Matnog with no reservation and as expected since its summer, Subic was already fully booked so boatmen docked us at Subic “saday” instead. Good for us, we stayed in “saday”, the place is not that over crowded.  We stayed there 3 days – three days of chillaxing experience.

Our 1st stop: Subic beach “saday”. Our homebase for three days.

This is life!

Amazing Subic beach shore with refined white sand

mixed with crushed tiny “pink” corals.

There’s “something pink in subic”. Even the water-level edges of caves and rocks are “pink”.

rocks, rock formations, blue sea

 monster-face-like formation

Boat rental includes boat transfer from Matnog to Subic beach + next day cave hopping + island hop to subic beach saday + subic beach dako + tikling island + juag fish sanctuary + transfer back to Matnog = P2000 (good for 10pax) overnight.

Next stop ► Juag Fish Sanctuary

Next ► Subic Beach “dako or big”.

Next hop: Tikling Island

Back to our homebase. Subic ‘saday’ @ night.
